Got my frenchie the bison flavor and she loves them! So happy i found Belly Benefits at our local farmers market. Love the quality, the ingredients, and that I am supporting a local business. Will be trying the rest of the flavors :)

My 1-year-old Spaniel has a super sensitive stomach. After we finally locked down a food that agreed with her, treats were still an issue. We switched to these ones a few months ago, and they’ve been perfect. We use them daily for training/reinforcement and our girl loves them. They’re soft, so I personally break them in half so we don’t go through the bag quite so quickly. They’re pricier than I’d normally spend on dog treats , but have quality ingredients and have been good for my pup’s finicky digestion.

So happy to have found a treat that my golden-doodle loves! She has a sensitive stomach and it has been difficult to find treats that motivate her, are low calorie, and she finds delicious. We have tried this treat in both the salmon and bacon flavor. So happy there is a variety. Lexie can’t wait to try the rest.

I bought this product for training the boarding dogs to use a doggy door. 90% high successful rate after using it. I let them taste first then let them just smell in my hand and lead to the doggy door panels. I'm very satisfied buying it. The dogs go crazy sniff and follow the smell.

My cat loves them. Yes, cat. She is on a very specific prescription diet: Hill's Food Sensitivities, Venison & Green Pea. The ingredients in these treats are very similar to the ingredients in her vet prescribed food. I literally cannot find single source novel protein treats for her (we tried freeze dried rabbit, but they made her sick). So these treats are a life saver! My only concern is the amount of protein (she also has chronic kidney failure) but I mitigate this risk by only feeding her treats in small quantities. Thank you for making a product for sensitive tummies!

These are small dog perfect and soft enough to break in half. Perfect for those with limited ingredient needs.

I bought them for my step-doghter (a 50 lb lab) who is extremely food motivated. But to my surprise, my elderly 14 year old cat with a sensitive tummy also goes crazy for these. Sometimes I use them crumbled over his food to get him to eat. The dog obviously loves them too. But she would eat garbage off the street so I don't know if she's a good judge! I however like that they're a perfect size, and she likes that I dole them out liberally during training. They're a hit in this house!

Explore Our Ingredients

Every bag of Belly Benefits uses only ONE premium protein source to improve digestibility and palatability.

Currently we have four amazing flavors to choose from: Bacon, Bison, Salmon & Venison

Healthy fats keep your dog's coat shiny, muscles strong, and heart happy. They also give our treats the taste that dogs love.

We use a different fat for each formula. They include: Salmon Oil, Pork Fat, & Chicken Fat

We supplement our formula with vitamins such as Calcium, Zinc, & Vitamin E to keep your pup strong and healthy! These are sourced from:

Calcium lactate - a form of calcium that is easily absorbed. It supports strong bones, and helps promote a healthy nervous system and muscle function.

Zinc propionate - a zinc supplement.

Mixed tocopherols - a combination of the four tocopherols present in vitamin E. They are also used to maintain freshness and shelf-life.

We use healthy preservatives to make sure your Belly Benefits stay fresh and keep a sustainable shelf-life. Source from:

Citric acid - a naturally occurring acid found in fruits such as oranges, lemons, and certain berries. Also used to enhance flavor.

Lactic acid - a natural chemical found in cheese, yogurt and other fermented dairy products. Also used to impart flavor.

Phosphoric acid - a mild acidifier to help maintain optimal pH levels.

Vegetable glycerin (i.e., glycerol) - made from vegetable oil and helps keep foods moist while preventing microbial growth.

Just What We Needed

"We are constantly looking for ways to tire out Pax. Daily training sessions have helped tremendously and Belly Benefits make sure his stomach is never bothered again."

Frequently Asked Questions

Since our zip lock packaging keeps treats fresh, your Belly Benefits will last as long as you'd like them to up to their expiration date. 4oz bags have ~100 treats and our 10oz bags have ~250 treats.

Proteins are the most common allergen for dogs. Using only one (single) source of protein makes Belly Benefits less likely to upset your dog's stomach while also making it easier to find your pet's perfect protein match.

Corn, wheat and soy are all common food allergens. To keep your pup's gut healthy and happy we removed them from all of our training treat recipes.

Food allergens in dogs are like pranksters tricking the immune system. When your pup’s gut spots these "bad guys," it sounds the alarm, triggering reactions that upset the stomach and cause discomfort.

Prebiotics are like special food for the good bacteria in your pup's stomach. These good bacteria help keep their digestive system healthy. When dogs eat foods with prebiotics, they travel through the stomach and feed these good bacteria, helping them grow and stay strong.

Like any change to your dog's diet, treats should be worked in gradually. After that we recommend 6 treats per day for every 15lbs of body weight to support a healthy lifestyle.

Every dog is different! That's why we recommend trying them all first to find the best fit. You can rest assured that your dog is getting a premium protein no matter which one you choose.

The crude fat minimum of Belly Benefits is 5%. This means that they are great for dogs with sensitive stomachs but they might not be the best treat for dogs with pancreas disorders.
