When Will McLaughlin’s dog Rue faced persistent stomach problems and behavioral issues, he embarked on a mission to find the cause. After three years of consulting top veterinarians, specialists, and pet food manufacturers, Will discovered Rue was allergic to added chicken proteins—a common allergen present in nearly all pet foods, sometimes in trace amounts not even listed on the labels. Determined to help other pet owners, Onward Hound was born to revolutionize the pet food industry…one allergy-free dog treat at a time.
